UFNOR is building a statewide network of independent, community-based food banks and aligned partners so every Oregon community can have reliable and dignified access to nutritious food.

Independent organizations know their communities best.
Community food banks are often created by neighbors in direct response to local need. They build trusted relationships, respond quickly, and frequently serve rural, remote, tribal, coastal, frontier, and other communities facing transportation, storage, funding, and food-access barriers.
UFNOR is designed to connect and strengthen these organizations without replacing, absorbing, or controlling them.
